We are like Snowflakes

Snowflakes are each created with a perfect uniqueness which makes them individually very special. Although they are formed in the same way, they are different from each other and when you look at a single one closely you can see how beautiful they are in their perfection.
As they float gently to Earth they gather together with other beautiful snowflakes, embracing them.
Once they are gathered together in their unity with all the others that surround them, they are no longer distinguishable to the eye. The individual is still there but is it seems to be lost, hidden from your sight.
Then a remarkable thing happens and the sunlight touches them, causing them to glitter and sparkle showing the true essence of each snowflake. And for the short time of their physical existence they contribute to the beauty of the days they share with each other and the world surrounding them.
Then when their days are done they graciously leave the part of them which are physical behind and their spirit dances with the sunlight.
